Post Aftermarket Seats + Harnesses

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IF i'm going to get 4 point harnesses, will they work fine w/ the stock seats?
Does anyone here have any aftermarket racing seats? Did they just bolt right in the 944?

Craig if you are using the stock seats you need a harness bar, because your seats don't have those guide holes that race seats have you need something to keep the belts in place.

I actually have a set of race seats in my car, sparco pro 2000's, and I love them, they do not let you move when you are going through corners, I spend a bit of the time on the track so I like to be able to concentrate on driving. I do not have harneses in my car yet because I will not put them in with out a rollbar. I'm thinking if you went with some of the less robust 4pt units this would not be an issue, but I'm putting in the 3 inch 5 pt system and I just need the security of a roll bar before I put them in, that and I need the roll bar to mount them on.

Race seats will bolt right in if you have the right mounting brakets, every company makes them, but if you are going to do this let me know because I'll sell you my mounting brakets because I'm switching to a side mounted system instead of the bottom mount because I'm quite tall and need a little more head room.

I've got Wolfrpi seats in my garage they are sparco Evo's they fit fine but getting my ass into them sucks.. I'm going to borrow them for awhile till I can get some aftermarket seats.. I'd go with adustable seats if your not going to see alot of track time the non adjustables are great for about a X cross thats about it
