Bent cartridge or housing?

put them on in pairs two fronts, two rears, of the same manufacturer.

I recently installed new OEM Boge gas units on my '84, it wasn't too bad of a job, and the rears were a walk in the park. The fronts took some time and I actually had a buddy give me some help too.

Should always match the inserts when replacing one of the struts. If both had considerable mileage then replace both of them.

I had a strut that was bent so bad I could not get the insert out.

Make sure you go in for an alignment after working on any part of the suspension including the front struts.

I love doing alignments They pay 2hrs, an it only takes about 45 mins - 1hr
