Exclamation I got bored

here's the car. Pic taken w/ my buddy's cell phone. And for those of you who have never seen headlights half way up it's called a lazy eye...it's a drifter thing.

Open road + digital camera = interesting pic

btw-car is stock

It looked cooler when the Porsche Badge on the front wasn't there, and my front was cracked w/ a few other battle scars (mainly a screwed up driver's side rocker panel). It just looks out of place now, the car is too clean and not beat up enough.

ah yes. another thing that certain people think is cool, but makes the rest of the world think that your car is broken

ranks right up there with fashion mistakes such as baggy pants worn about a foot too low that make you look like you're carrying a load, and a nose piercing (post) that from a distance looks like such a nifty little wart (jm2c)

OK this is Officer James from the S.D. State Police. We have you now. We're citing you with a $500 fine for speeding, reckless driving, and failure to keep your gas tank at least halfway full. Send the check to. . .

Well, maybe not.

You can still send me 500 bucks if you want though, I won't say no.

Replace your headlight motor relay, it's in the fuse box under the hood.

Worked for me, no more headlights getting stuck part way open.

btw-pic is real. Trees don't get very blurry when they're in the DISTANCE. And on top of that, I would admit it to be photoshopped if it were a photoshop. I have never seen a speedo photo where the trees that are ahead of the car are blurry. But whatever, if you don't believe me then you go that fast. And my alignment was a little bit off, that would be why the steering wheel was like that.

the "lazy eye" thing looks stupid, IMHO. Besides, it's not a 240SX, it's a Porsche 944

Are you really drifting your 44?

I have a very open mind so, no flames here, but would the 44 really be up to drifting?

About the second pic though, if it is real (and I'm not saying it isn't) does the 944 still have that much RPM to go at 145?

Yeah, I've been drifting my 944 for about a year and a half now (although I just recently got into it pretty hardcore). It's horrible for it IMO. The @$$ end is kinda hard to get out and it's pretty unpredictable once you get it out (although I'm sure a lot of that comes from 145,000 mile bushings). However, I did buy a 951 rear sway bar and it helped me out quite a bit (I could actually drift it instead of just power slide or use retarded throttle control to get it out). The ebrake is on the wrong side and in all honesty, I don't think they're up for the abuse, and maintanence is too high (I mean c'mon, ***** breaks when you get it sideways). And the diff is really weak.

The pic of the speedo IS real, despite what everybody is saying. Yes, there is that much tach left, too bad it doesn't have the balls to pull all the way to redline.

We're entitled to our opinions. Although, that's mostly why I'll be replacing the 944 w/ a 95-96 240sx as soon as I can find one worth buying.
