Intro - newbie

Hey everyone. Have browsed here before but never done anything more than that.

I am Matt H at Rennlist for those that do both boards. Have loads of cars but the ones I claim are a 95 BMW 540 and an 87 951.

P-car is mostly put back together after a somewhat restoration project. Too many mods to list and I have forgotten most of them :)

perfecto951 02-19-2004 10:46 AM

you should remember them and then post them.

i want 350hp.

350HP951 02-19-2004 11:09 AM

perfecto - car has not been dynoed yet, it should make that much HP and if it doesnt we will keep working until it does.

T04E
72 lb/hr injectors
Huntley Stg 3/4 MAF
PLX WB02
HKS EGT/Boost guages
SFR exhaust
Pauer Tuning fuel lines
TiAL WG
Stratmosphere DV
APEXi AVC-R
18PSI (though might end up going to 21 or 25 just going to have to see)
External Oil Cooler
yadda, yadda, yadda.

Still some other stuff to order. More stuff I am sure I have forgotten.

Welcome Matt H....

I am AlexE over on rennlist........... pelican is my first home. You will find it quite entertaining on Pelican. Not as many in depth turbo discussions here but a lot of good times!

My car is a work in progress as well.... Vitesse Stage2 (T04e), AVC-R, SFR 3inch exhaust, 38 Tial, Lindsey Wide Band...etc... Hope to hit similar numbers even if I have to crank the boost till something blows.. heheheh

350HP951 02-19-2004 11:34 AM

Good to see you Alex! I have wandered here before but I needed something to do this afternoon, real slow at work.

SoCal Driver 02-19-2004 11:46 AM

Matt's not really a newbee. He has over 4,000 posts on RennList.

So you all be sure to ask Matt those tough technical questions because he's very knowledgeable.

Hey SoCal, dont get their hopes up! You getting back at me for saying I dont always agree with you? :>)

I am fairly technically oriented but by no means in the same league as TonyG or Danno(I think he is DannXYZ here) or some of the others.

SoCal is right I am not really a newbie per se. But new to this forum.

SoCal Driver 02-19-2004 12:38 PM

Mostly agree on car stuff.

You can change the line below your user name in the profile section. Can't put a large avatar there like Rennlist though.

SidVicious 02-19-2004 12:59 PM

Hey Matt,

Since you've met Sidney, you know where I got this screen name.

350HP951 02-19-2004 01:05 PM

Thanks SoCal, I will check it out.

Brian that is too funny. Scary there is a Sid V on both lists and they arent the same guy!

SidVicious 02-19-2004 01:32 PM

Yeah, I was registered here for awhile before I went over there. When I saw there was a similar name, I had to totally change it.

Sidney's been living up to the Vicious too. She's had a real bad attitude lately.

I think your's should have been "400HP951". After all, we need to set a lofty goal, right?

TCMdocs944 02-19-2004 01:54 PM

Welcome....Will be nice to have some new "old" members here!

350HP951 02-19-2004 03:46 PM

Thanks TCM.

Brian - the goal is 400 and it will make that much, just wont be very streetable. My license plates are going to read 400+ HP. If I end of moving that would be better as there is only a 5 dollar charge for the vanity plates!

I think I am going to trade the K26 for something, just waiting on a reply!

Wolf1 02-19-2004 04:09 PM

Welcome 350HP951, you can never have too many turbo lovers around!!!:D
350 rwhp sounds like a good number....I am hoping to hit about the same with mine.

350HP951 02-19-2004 04:26 PM

The higher the better right???!!!

Nabeel 02-19-2004 09:17 PM

Hi Matt, nice to see you over here. I go by the same name at Rennlist, but don't post a whole lot.
