When it came time for me to replace the radiator on my '86 NA, I had heard that the factory part is lacking in quality. What tends to happen is the aluminum and plastic of the radiator separate which causes leaks. I opted to purchase a nickel/copper radiator from Automotion...my NA runs so much cooler now too. The factory and aftermarket radiators cost roughly the same price [~$400] so it's up to you which one you want for your replacement. -Trevor

I bought an all aluminum radiator for my 944S and it cost around $220 with shipping. Try Vertex for the cheapest, or you can pay a couple extra bucks and buy one from Pelican Parts, its $273. I am almost certain that its all aluminum but call them to be sure, they have awesome service.

diaonne,

Griffin Radiator in Piedmont, SC makes the Siccoro size radiato which is pretty close in two varying tube sizes. They make custom sizes & can modify to fit. Their aluminum radiators cool on Winston Cup, dirt track, drag cars, etc.

I had Performance Products match **********'s price for a new radiator. Ended up paying $185.00 plus shipping. I was going to get the "updated" radiator but the low temperatures on the Oregon Coast did not warrant the upgrade.

Is that A Ferris Bueller reference diannone? Try looking at a Summit, or Jeg's catalog. They sell high performance radiators, not sure of the name brand, Be Cool maybe?, but they might have a website to contact them.
