Post Some G-tech time results.

Hi there!

I tested my baby on 0-60 mph and 1/4 mile accelerations yesterday. I did my run on the same road, in the oposite directions to see if the road was flat and I obtained very similar times. The car has 225-50 HR old tires without treadth anymore on both sides. I wasn't able to get any traction in first gear and I had to shifth very smoohtly in second gear to avoid the car spinning to the redline. Here are my results:

The car is a 951 1986 without any visible modification. I still don't know if there's an aftermarket chip installed, I don't know how to verify.

Here's my conclusion:
Traction
Hehehehe!

See ya!
And again, sorry for my bad english

It sounds like its got chips - those were about the numbers Ribs was posting for his car. If the redline is at 7000 rpm that means you have chips.

The 1/4 mile times are about what I got (I was having trouble with the car having too much traction at the drag strip and not knowing what to do with it), the trap speeds are rather high (the g-tech read 107 mph when I used it at the drag strip, but the drag strip said I was going 102) but my 0-60 times were around 5.15, and I was able to have a good hook-up with proper wheel spin when I tried the 0-60 times. I also had a passenger and a full tank of gas. It sounds like you have traction problems...and you probably definitely have a chip.

Ribs: I looked at your car and there's great rubber back there! Hehehe... I'd really like to get as much traction. Here are my rear tires, there's less than 2mm of tread remaining (0.08"):

5.15 seconds is VERY impressive! When you say that there's too much traction at the drag stip, do you mean that the car tends to bug off the line? I agree with you, we lose at least 0.5 seconds with these **** bugs.

See ya,
Yan
