Production years

This is simple question guys. I know that the 944 started production in '82 and was in the us for the '83 model year. The 8 valve NA went until '89 right? So then, was the S2 the only model available in the US market in 1990 and 1991?

Thanks for the info Bob. FYI I may be going to see a 944 in Bunnell, FL this weekend. It's an '88 with 105k miles or so. I will keep you and the rest of the CFL 944 driers up to date. We might be able to do a drive sometime soon.

lol yea, I know about the mileage. My first 944 had over 200, ran great though.
