So I finally have my boost sensor calibrated, for running my water injection. The water injection should start after half boost pressure.
Default the boost pressure is ~0.75bar. I will now increase the boost pressure to ~1-1.1 bar. . Thats (At least) an 25% increase. In the manual it says that the car makes~ 0-60 in 7.8 seconds. How much faster do you think I will be now? Is there any way to calculate this? *Cant wait to feel the 1 bar boost* ![]() (I only have the time consuming task now, to drive->boost->check boost gauge->open hood, turn the boost controller-> drive->boost->check the gauge.............., until I reach 1.0bar)

Well... 1 bar is 14.7 psi....
So in the 951 I have seen increases in HP of 15-30 hp for every psi increased......... so assume 15hp for every psi to be conservative with the turbo you are using.... (are you using the stock turbo?) So you could then calculate your new HP and go from there....

Not exactly....
...so with smiles numbers he has .... (.75 bar) ... which is approximately 11 psi..... generating approximately 150 hp. 1 bar = ~15 psi... so 4 psi increase can give him 60 hp.... So at 15 psi or 1 bar he should run... ~210 hp at the flywheel... with 180-190 rwhp. This is assuming the turbo in the 924 can keep up with the flow at the higher psi. ex. on the stock k26/6 if you run over 18 psi the turbo is out of its efficiency range.... so increasing psi will not net you anymore power.... if anything it will create more problems ... higher EGTs etc.....

With that power in the lighter car he should be running low 6's 0-60, assuming everything holds together.

WOW, Sounds Great.
I'm running a stock Turbo. The car has 170 hp, with ~0.75 bar (Porsche says 0.7-0.8), standard. I dont know what to hope for and its really not SO important. It would just be interesting to know, so that you can answer people who ask. Thank you ae1969 for your comments. I'll let you know how the car felt, when I have adjusted it properly.

The car accelerated like........ ![]() My goal for this winter is accomplished. Thank god! I will have a blast this summer at the Swedish Porsche Clup race circuit meetings!
