Wanted good mechanic in Great Britain
Does anyone out there have the number of a good mechanic in the UK. As my previous posting (milkshake in the coolant) has alerted me to a possible oil cooler seal fault. The dealers are quoting £100.00 per hour labour which if its just the seals the cost is looking in the region of £600.

That's because you are calling an Official Porsche Dealer. You should be able to find a reputable specialist in your area. You should give your location so we know where that is........

really, Dover to Liverpool is a bit of a trek...give us a hint
in London, I used City Porsche in the east end (Bow) John is knowledgeable and very fair

Rowland, without knowing where you are, I'm taking a guess at whether these suggestions will be any use:
North West: Hartech Automotive, Bolton South West: Porschtech, Bristol South East: Tognola Engineering, Datchet, Berkshire I have used and can recommend all three - plus in each case the labour rate should be about half what the OPC is quoting you

Thanks for the information have found JZ Machtech of Kings Langley. The price quoted seems very reasonable, my location is Milton Keynes Busks.
