Kriket tool?
Ok, I was talking to my dad on the phone yesterday and we were talking about the T-Belt and I mention I either need the P9201 tool or a Kriket tool. He's like, "hey I have a kriket tool". When I asked what he used it for, he says timing belts. So, my question for you guys is, is there more than one Kriket tool? Right now I don't have access to him or the tool, so I can't compare it to anything.
What do you guys think, am I in luck on the tool? Oh yea, while I'm there I'm going to do the spark plugs, cap/rotor, plug wires and air filter. The wasser pump was replaced a few K ago, do I have to do it again? What else should I change while I'm doing the T-Belt? Thanks guys! This forum rules, what a great resource... |
if i remember correctly there is a I II and an III, and if i remember correctl youll need the II.... if i remember correctly

People use the Kirket tool and there are alot of differing oppionions. Bigest problem I have heard is that the tensioning units on he Kirket dont match up to the tensioning units on the Porsche tool. Try a search on the board it has been dicussed in detail.
