need help

i have an 87 944 turbo and i am trying to find the timing marks on the time belt and i am having a hard time finding the marks. is there any and if there is where are they and if not how do you set the timing belt.

The belt itself has no marks. The cam gear, and the flywheel are marked.

At Clark's you should find 'locating and setting engine to TDC' in the garage shop manual section.

Don't take anything apart before you read Clarks info.

If you have already remove the belt...Dont do anything else yet. Get back to us.
