Bleeding Collent system
 
I need your help on my first project. I have to replace the lower rad hose on my 1987 924S engine ( a long story about doing something stupid!) . The book said to locate the bleeder valve on the upper hose but I found no bleeder port just one solid hose. I do have a second bolt on my therastat housing( one is allen head the other is a hex head) that looks like it could be the bleeder valve. Is this the bolt that I need to remove? I think my main problem is I have two repair manuals. The haynes 944 and the Haynes 924 and they give different info on almost everything. and none of the pictures looks exactley like my engine.

Its on top of the housing where the upper hose goes into the head. Its part #30 in this picture:
