Recommend Porsche mechanic in Rockland/Bergen/Westchester, NY area?
Can anyone recommend a reliable mechanic, in the Rockland/Bergen/Westchester Counties area of NYC area, who has experience working on Porsche 944's (circa l986)?
Since I'm getting ready to buy an 86 944 Turbo, thought this would be a good idea. Thanks. Ave |

in Mahwah area- Ive been out in SoCal for so long Im not shure of the town anymore but EVERYTHING about the operation is top notch. The shop is so clean you can eat off the floor and take a look at the cars being serviced -they MUST be doing it right-and are! If you need it you'll get it here BUT if not ......I had been suprised many times to find a lesser tab than expected cause I didnt need what I thought I did ...Recomended without reservation-A great honest mechanic Whish He'd move out here!

I use Coninental Automotive in Nanuet. Very reasonable and he only fixes what needs fixing. No BS. My brother uses him as well for hi '85 Targa. Everytime I go there, there are a few Porsches in the lot. The owner is Rick and he's a former Porsche mechanic.
