944 Airbox
Hey Dudes,
Does anyone have experience with the complete replacement Mass Flow Sensor for the 944? I have not yet tried to repair the "wiper track" in the stock box and had planned to try that approach first. Tomorrow the car goes in for the waterpump, belts, front seal and general check. After that I can take the airbox out in my garage. Any info would be appreciated. |

I have installed a MASS AIR FLOW KIT on my 924S, IF your looking to fix your old air meter then checkout FR Wilks site

Thanks I am planning on following the Wilks directions, I was more interested in whether the $1,000.00 for the updated mass flow sensor produced a noticeable improvement over the older technology.

thanks I plan on following that wilks site already. I'm more interested if the mass flow sensor update was a noticeable improvement over the older vein technology. I'm chasing a momentary split second dead spot in the rpm band that has been with the vehicle since I've owned it. Out of ideas, I am wondering if the flap is being delayed in it's normal sweep due to wear which would seem to correlate to a dead spot.
