Talking Fr Wilk Is A God

HOLY *****, I just finished installing FR-WILKS Power Prom 2 into my 1987 924S that has many mods already, Its 11:09PM and I cant stop shaking, I cant believe the difference between stock and POWER PROM 2, I didnt expect that much from a chip. When I first started the car ( i dont know if Im crazy or not) the exhaust note comming from my B@B polished catback exhaust sounded deeper and more pissed then ever before, I let her warm up and gave it a blip of gas in my garage, I could hear the air sucking hard threw the MAF kit, Just the change in notes excited me, I got into the car and pulled out of my drive way and hammered it, The car pulls hard from 2,000-7000rpm. No flat spots, no waiting until 4,000rpm for some power, The power is there in full force nice and smooth all the way to 7,000 R's. If I am correct I can now go 62mph in sencond gear with the extra rpm's, I just can get over how hard and smooth the power band is now. If you guys are thinking of a chip, go talk to the CHIP MAN- FR WILK.

THANX FR-WILK

I am about to order one for my newmly acquires 944NA 1987. Can you guys give me one more incentive to do so????? (laughs..)

Versus Autotority? Sorry had to ask...

Also, with that chip does it worth going with Weltmeister throttle cam? Would that be too much?

Thanks!

I need one of those also, in a big way, I'm gonna be doing miles and miles of highway driving and would be able to appreciate the value of a performance chip....all I need to do is drop in my thermofan switch (still) and I'll be set...
oh, new tires would help also...

FR, i've got a performance chip that i orded from pelican...

aside from the obvious dual mode operation, are there other big differences between your chips and the competition?

redline... i just fully rebuilt my motor, once it's broken in, would it be ok in your opinion to run the 7000-limit chip?

it's a street driven car, and normally i like to enjoy the smoothness of the ride and getting 27 mpg, but i do, on occasion, have a tendancy to open the car up...

thanks again for your time

"When the DME is set for ROW (ROW & EURO), that does not use the lambda sensor or catalytic converter, the fuel map below is used. The fuel increases with load for good power. The US version of the Part Throttle Fuel Map is designed to be flat to support the Lambda sensor and not for power. The general impression that the EURO 944 is a better performer is not just another myth."

is there anyway to switch the dme to ROW?

Robthe54....these cars were not meant to be running 7000 rpm whichever way you slice it.....

But FR'S chips are awesome with some dip.
