PCA Maybe?
Saturday like today was a very fine day up here in Maine. I happen to notice while working around the yard, Porsche after Porsche driving by my house. After about the 15th one drove by my house I stood up, scratched my head and whispered WTF. 20 Mins later they were still going by sporatically. I estaimate around 50 total. All walks of life and pocketbooks. 911's, 928's, 944', 914's, you name it. Couple of em waived and beeped.
Was there a DER PCA event? I was drooling. I looked over at mine still disabled from the clutch master. So today I took it out. Tore it apart and replaced the rubber seals. It was hideous inside the master. Greyish nasty watery bleh! I got it back together and gravity bled it with fresh dot3. It worked. I was psyched. Took it for a spin and discovered that it needed to be bled more. After working the pedal for 1 hr the air bubbles stopped surfacing and it was tight! What a great day!

It is fun when on a PCA tour to roll through small towns and see the reaction when a couple dozen Porsche's go by all at once.
What's more fun is when you get out of town, and the driving becomes a bit more "spirited". |
