Its Here!!!

So i get up this morning to clean out the garage so the 944 i bought on ebay would fit. It wasnt due till Tuesday.

Well, the driver calls me and asks if its ok if he delivers the car today???

ABSOLUTLY!

and a followup from me previous thread, i tipped him $60 for being early.

A Autotransport handled the shippiong for this. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. They did an outstanding job.

This car is an early 85, near showroom condition with 75k on the clock. It's SOOOOOOO much quicker than the 86 auto I just sold. a totally different car. Ive been successfully converted to the early club for good!!!

Thanks for all the help you guys have given me!!!

Man I love these cars!

Dave

Not black, (looks like in the pics) Its actually a dark bluish grey metallic. Im not sure if its a factory color, but it looks great.

Thanks for the compliment!

How was the transation on e-bay? Did you get what you wanted, any suprises? I've heard alot of horror stories about buying a car without driving it and seeing it in person, just curious, looks very nice.

NICE!

I love the early cars with Fuchs. But I agree with what was said above - It looks like a black car from the pic. My first 944 was Montego Black metallic and it looks almost identical. Classy.

This is the second one Ive bought on ebay.
The transaction was probably the best car buying experience Ive ever had.

Thcar came better than described. I would only buy from a dealer with good feedback on ebay. Id never buy from an individual sight unseen. See, if its a dealer, they will make sure the car is as descibed, because negative feedback would hurt them and they would have trouble selling other cars. And you can get a "Third party" Inspection before you bid on teh car (costs like $75). Then a company wil go out and verifiy the cars's comdition

Also, on this car, the dealer put me in touch with the PO, so I got to really find out about the car, and the records.

But I woudlnt hesistate buying on ebay again, as long as the seller has good feedback, and has provided ALOT of info.

Nice buy, looks like a good car. It's nice to hear ebay stories about transactions going well...seems like all I see are complaints about being ripped off.

I also bought mine on Ebay and traveled 1000+ miles to pick it up! Everything went well with no suprises. Bought it from a dealer.

Looks good, gotta love the Fuchs.

The 8" wide wheels in the back really fill out the rear wheel wells good.
