A big thank you..
To those that came to help out with my little 924!
![]() We got it running for a good 5 mins toda (even though it idled horribly rough and at low RPMs)... BUT! It was going on its own for 5 mins... We shut it down after then because the cooling fanst are not hooked up yet. So, Hugh, Don, thanks for showing up! Unfortunately Scottmandue was horribly ill, and Gordon had to work as usual *cough*flake*cough* ![]() Maybe next time we'll get 4 for 4... or more. heh. I definitly feel that this car will be rock solid in a little while, especially with the help of the PAP 924/944/968 community ![]()

Grab the part number off of the DME and check Wilks site. May just be one of those transion DME's with the socket.

Anyway, I found that I had to turn the AFM spring 4 notches (left) to get the proper .85 v off the O2 sensor. I think the PO's mechanic changed it to run better. Thanks to everyone for the help in this matter. Don

I ended up taking a sick day yesterday off from work and still feel like s**t... But what the heck today I figued if I'm going to be sick I might as well come in to work and get paid to feel like crap.
Let's do it again, It's been over a year since I have had a chance to pick hugh's brain. Just remeber I work Saturdays so I'm can only come out to play on Sunday/Monday... and I'm with Gordon 10am on a Sunday!

Have to say you have a nice view of the Pacific from your apartment Gordon. About a little over a mile right down that little canyon. I can see where you are spoiled when it comes to any temp over 68 maybe 74 degrees.
Did you ever find the owners manual for your long gone 924?

So, gordon, if i follow your example with 924 care, i can get it not-running again in like ... what ... a week?
![]() Good news, ran the car for about half an hour this evening. Still some idling problems, probably due to fuel injectors. My vacuum advance is working well. I'm also going to clean the injectors real good this weekend and see if that brings it up to a good 850-900 rpm idle. This evening it fired right up, and granted with one out of two fans running it can get pretty warm pretty quick, idles right now at about 600-700.

You mean the spray pattern?
The one that was cleaned (heh) sprays real nice and everything. The other 3... not so sure. Also going to clean the injector on the cold-start valve.
