how much is a 944 S worth?

I've been wanting to get a Posche for a while now and looked at an excellent looking '87 944 S today. All maintenance was recently done (inc the timing belt). Ran and drove great. Interior was in good shape with the exception of minor dash cracks and otherwise normal wear. What is it worth?

I would expect maybe $6800 for a nice model...what's the mileage?

"Nice" meaning good history/records/reciepts, very good paint (maybe a stone chip or two, but good looking otherwise) and decent mileage (70,000-90,000) and an overall well kept, looked-after vehicle.

Was the chain tensioner and/or pads changed anytime recently?

Which would be exactly why I put cars.com and autotrader on there.

Tires don't change the value unless they aren't in good shape at all, even then they don't change it much though

As I remember, the S has the cam chains, and more ramps and tensioners to be aware of. There is an S sitting at my wrench's place for over 4 months looking for cams. The cams are OK, but the toothed part of the camshafts were missing teeth from the chain out of tension.
