Oil Pressure
In the owners manual for my 89 944 S2 it says that at 5000 rpm and normal temperature, the oil pressure guage should read 4 bar.
When driving the car the guage, regardless of rpm and temperature, almost always reads 5 bar - that is, the needle is pegged to the top. If it is idling at a stop, then it will drop down to 4 or just below. The guage has always read this way, but should I be worried?
