Good Porsche shop in North San Diego

Well, soon I will have the $$ to get my belts done as well as finding the Massive Oil leak and get that fixed.

I don't want to go to OEM to get this done cuz they rape you etc....

I would do the stuff myself, but have nowhere to work on it.

Any help is appreciated.

Don

From what I've seen there are a couple good shops on the north side. AGA (All German Auto) is in Escondido, and is a really nice outfit. I've never been to Black Forest, but they get a lot of press around the club, as well as Dieter's. Don't know the cost scales, but they'd probably give you an estimate.

I think AGA is the place that did my smog #1 & #3.
If it is, it's a nice outfit.
The owner did tell me back in Jan that he no longer keeps 944 type technicians cuz there was not enough work to keep them busy.

Should any Porsche mechanic be able to do everything effectively ??

Oh, wait, the place I got smogged was in Rancho Bernardo, but it does border escondito.
Anyway, thanks for the response

Since you're often in the riverside area (har har) you could probably talk to the mechanic i bought my car from. He's got a waiting list of like a month at least... But if you need time to get the funds at least you'd have your name on the list when you have the cash ready. He does excellent work, and is way above the competition in this area quality-wise.

My guy did the belts, rollers, and waterpump plus a fuel filter in 5.75 billable hours a couple of months ago. It took 1.5 days.

That sounds doable.

I've also seen an ad for Black forest here in San Diego.

Thanks again all for the info
