LOTS of smoke when started...oil?
I just started my car after almost 5 months, I had the starter problem, well checked out the flywheel ring gear and fine, so I put starter back on, changed the plugs, jumped it, it started!!
BUT LOTS of smoke started coming off from the exhaust, around it, it was a bit cold out there, but there was a lot of smoke for about 6-7 minutes, then it got pretty minimal, definitely hear a clicking noise coming from the head of the engine, sticking valve??? How do I fix it if it was, sorry I'm kind of learning how to fix cars with this one...any help very much appreciated.

Burn the fire.

Fixing sticky valves - keep it at operating temp, drive it (not too hard) and change the oil.

What color was the smoke? Did it smell sweet? Or like burning oil?
Greyish smoke that hangs around for a while and smells smoky is burning oil, white sweet-smelling smoke is coolant.
