Re-locating vents on early 944 ???

On the early 944 there are 2 air vents just above the center console.
Has anyone ever relocated them ???

I eventually want to install a " Shuttle " type PC. One in particular has a front panel that the radio and CD player will work even when the computer is turned off.

It has a nice wood look front. The board will take a P4 2ghz type processor and has an AGP and extra PCI. So I could put an All In Wonder Radeon graphics card for TV and games etc...
Hooked up to a flat panel touchscreen and also using the ATI remote that comes with the video card, would be a kicka$$ system in the P-Car

Anyway, do ya think that it can be done ???

Of course this is in the future after you have your car running correctly?

As to the vents; pop off the center speaker grill and take a look. Think the air box will get in your way.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

The vents can be re-routed just by re-directing the hoses that connect to the front. Those you can bend around whichever way you want. As for fitting that PC in there, you know it's an awesome idea... just make sure you stock up on hand-saw blades.
