Sheet metal
Getting ready for the big tear down, so I have to ask:
How is the sheet metal attached to the unibody in the 944? I have been told it could be bolted, hooked, or bolted and hooked, or possibly welded. Thanks, GHEN

IF you are asking about the front fenders; these will come off.
But then what exactly are you asking about?

I would like to take the front fenders and the rear quarter panels off.
GHEN BTW: Is rear quarter panels redundant?

rear quarter panels don't bolt off like the front fenders... they're welded in.

For the longest time (before i saw the beads on the inside chassis) i thought the whole ass-end of the car was peened out on a mold...
