WTF! Why would u want to go there when beach communities and 20-30 degree lower summer temps are 10 mis away not to mention the butt-floss.

BH!? Hot as Hell and a bunch of euro-trash/old barfmat fossils!

As far as one that hasnt changed since the fifties??? State Park Land can be homesteaded till they chuck u out

A: What is the matter with Charlotte?

B: As a native New Englander, awesome place to live, too expensive though.

C: Never thought I would recommend it (as I'm kinda stuck here) but several of Columbus' suburbs have retained a bit of that old time feeling, and the pay here is pretty good.

Charlotte is getting...shall we say....very......imigrant overtaken.
Theres also alot of gang activity. Not to mention poor civil planning. Home invasions are an everyday thing around here. Got so bad we had to arm ourselves and taught the wife to shoot. I could probably come up with 10 other reason.

Just ready for a change I guess. Were self employed, so we can move almost anywhere and relocate the business.

We have been thinking of New england though.

"Hasn't changed since the 50's"

There are some nice little towns along the Oregon coast that have the small town feel. If you don't mind the weather.

It's a short trip over here to Southern Pines, come on over here. Only "immigrants" here drive Lincolns and have blue hair. Besides, I need more porsche buddies in town.

John..We actually thought about moving out to the outerbanks, still a posibility. Southern Pines...Dont I buz through there going to Wilmington on 74?

Thansk for the Oregon Lead, Im gonna check that out.

True story that set me off today:

Went to MCdonalds today for a quick bite...Went to the counter...short little 60yr old Latino lady asked to take my order in Spanish. well I dont speak Spanish, so she called over her Asian friend, who barely spoke engish at all. She has to get another friend to translate my order from Engish, to Chinese to Spanish.

Took like 10 minutes to order. I thought I was on Candid camera or something....

Southern Pines is a few miles north of Rockingham, up 1 from 74.

Reason #2 to check us out, lots of little mom and pop reastaraunts, won't have to worry with McD's.

We are getting a new BestBuy, Bed bath and beyond, pet smart, etc soon, just started construction.

If you can afford it (not suggesting you can't) Ipswich, Masachusetts is just a great place to be.

If a little more freedom is your bag, just over the border in New Hampshire might be the ticket. Mason, NH isn't too far North and is a sweet little town, actually it IS sweet because Parker's Sugar House is right there too! Great; now I really miss New England.
