My almost finished project

It's not done. I still have to put on the side sills, the driver's side door handle, lower the rear ride height, paint the calipers, etc., etc. After that I have suspension and interior work to do.
The wheels are Kahn RS-R's, 18x8 & 18x9.5. The tires are Pirelli PZero 225/40/18 front and 285/30/18 rear. There is alot of rubber in the back! The 996TT runs a 295/30/18.
I can't say enough about Dan's (xsboost90 on Rennlist) paint work, I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

Just beautiful, I love the color..do you have an extra trim piece on the bottom of the front spoiler? I have the same front end on mine but without that little lip on the bottom.. If you don't mind my asking, how much did the paint job run you?

The front lip is a fiberglass splitter from American International Racing. It runs around $250. The paint job was done by a local friend of mine. He posts on Rennlist as xsboost90. I don't want to say what I paid because he gave me a real good deal. You can find him on Rennlist and ask him though.

The "secret" wheels look awesome!! I find it hard to believe the car has come so far. Any pics of the interior? You deleted the airbags if I remember correctly right??

I'll have some interior pics in a week or so. I still have to reupholster the seats and I have some white gauge faces to install.

Yep. Kahn RS-R 18x8 & 18x9.5. I didn't really want 18's but they don't make those wheels in a 17" version.

Nice car! Really love it, wheels loke a bit japanese No, just kidding, i love the whole car. Color is great, the lip also seems pretty cool on the pics, nice job on the mirrors and i love the way the door handles are the same color as the car.

I just gotta know where the rear bumper come from on your clean machine? I've been digging around but can't find any stock 944's with a rear bumper like that. anyway, love the color, love the wheels and love the car.

Stock Euro rear bumper.

I think there are one or two places to get fiberglass copies in the USA if not just track down a factory piece.

In this instance i think that was a 924 euro rear bumper that they modified a little to work on the 944, looks damn good!

Exactly. It is a 924 euro bumper. I got it from a guy here on Pelican. I think he goes by s928s. I'll check on that.
He had a post here on this forum selling that bumper for $125 shipped. If you've ever looked for these things that's a helluva deal. I can't believe no one else got it first.
It did need the ends widened a little to match the 944 quarters but it was some minor fiberglass work.

those wheels are incredible, I love them. This coming from a guy who things deep dish BBS are the sexiest wheels ever. In fact, the problem with your car is those wheels are so nice it takes a minute to realize how great the rest of the car looks. You should be proud of the way it turned out; I hope one of my projects can come out looking almost as nice.
