924S valve cover leak..I think?? Help.
I've got an 87 924S...after sitting there is some oil on the ground and some on the exhaust(down low after the header). It looks like the valve cover is leaking at the rear. It is truly the valve cover or do I possibly need cam seals too?
I've worked on alot of 914s so what am I getting myself into on this seemingly easy job?? Thanks, Mark |

more than likely the cam/valve cover. butalso the rear cam end cover as well. has a trusty cork gasket !!..clean the area good and run it and recheck to varify...may end up doing the belts and the other seals once you get involved in taking it apart. have to remove the timing belt (partially)to remove the cam housing/valve cover.
