Wheel offset???
Greetings from the sunny UK(not). Have checked out a couple of uk forums that include the 944 but have found this one more useful and friendly.
My recent purchase is a '85 944 8v oval dash with 15" teledails,my question is can anybody tell me 'what 16" porsche wheels will fit, what the off-set required is and also will Deign 90's from a Turbo fit as i have been advised by a tech not to fit them? I'm sorry this question is a basic one but i dont want to shell out on some rims that are going to give me future problems. hope someone can help. Cheers

16" Fuchs alloys would be your best bet - they are the lightest and most sought-after wheel in that size. I believe the phonedials came in 16" as well, no?

I have put 16" phone dials to replace 15". There was a very noticable weight difference (bad) and the speedo was wrong after the change.
I can tell you that your better off with fuchs, or keep the 15" phones. Unles you have a turbo :-) Keep smaller wheels on the na, it will perform better IMHO Any wheel with a 23.3 offset will fit without spacers.
