Yet another stalling problem

Hello all,

Must be Murphy's law, my car has run fine for the last three months, now that the weather has gotten really good here, my baby has decided to be cranky...

The car starts fine, and was running fine, when out of nowhere it started to buck. Dropping a gear had no effect, stepping harder on the gas alleviated the problem, but as soon as I eased up, the rpms would take a tumble and the car would stall. Putting in the clutch made no difference whatsoever. The car starts immediately again when the key is turned, but will die again if the pedal is let up on. Thought i smelled gas once, but maybe from me trying to get the last mile home. (made it ... whew...) The car is going to a mech (was time for a tuneup anyway), but just want some opinions from some of the experts here on where to point him to save time. Not sure if the car was starving for gas or maybe getting too much...

Figures, was just about to spend on a new top and some paintwork... arrggghhhh... Guess it's all part of Porsche ownership...SmileWavy

Check the fuel lines going to the fuel rail on the engine.
