No, it just needs some more work/content. Eventually i'll buy my own domain. If you guys have any ideas for the webpage though, i'd love suggestions.

Ummmmmmmm no. The 944 got heavier as time went on. Early US roadtests of the 944 (i have an issue of CAR AND DRIVER from May 1983) have the 944 doing 0-60 in about 7.4-7.6 seconds. I have road tests from 1985-on that have the 944 doing 0-60 in about 8.2-8.4 seconds. In 1989, the displacement rose from 2.5 to 2.7 liters, and the accelleration time dropped back down to about 7.4 seconds 0-60.

Not a big deal, just nitpicking

Hmmm... we must have different sources. Was 8.2-8.4 Porsche released specs? That seems a little high.

Yup, the 85.5 and 86 model years have the slowest 0-60. In 1987, the 2.5 n/a gained a few hp due to increased compression.

tomorrow morning i will post all the road test data i have for the 944NA (various sources - ROAD & TRACK, CAR AND DRIVER, AUTOCAR, CAR, TOP GEAR, AUTOMOBILE, etc.). Now, however, i am tired.
