an oil filter wrench that works
Finally found a filter wrench that fits good and is far better than the cast aluminum cheapies. I found it at Auto Zone for somewhere around 3 or 4 bucks:
Brand name: OEM Model number "B" It is steel, rather than aluminum, therefore much thinner on the sides and that provides clearance between the heater hose leading from the steel pipe above the exhaust manifold. I was able to remove the filter without having to raise the headlights!! Just thought I would pass this along.
