Engine Install

I didn't want to hijack TheCooler's thead, so here it is. The engine and transmission is out of the car, and I was wondering which I should install first. I would like to install the engine with the bell housing on it. The transmission is ready to go back in, however it will be another week till the engine is good to go. Can I install the engine with the bell housing, head, cam housing, and cross member, if the transmission is in the car? And finally, the engine will be going up from the bottom. Thank you in advance.

Do you think I will have problems leaving the bell housing on the engine?

Well, i did an engine transplant (with the bell housing) with the tranny and torque tube still attached. You will have to loosen some of the front bolts so the torque tube can sag and go into the bell housing. Youll also need to remove the radiator for clearance. I did it from the bottom as well.

Good to know that it can be done, my thanks!
