i got an 'F' on my emissions test.
i can't wait till i don't have to do this emissions crap in a few years.
i failed NOx in the 25/25 i got read a 1976 and a 1163 was allowed. and int he 50/15 i read a 2270 and i was allowed a 1273. i also failed the 50/15 CO%, i read a .96 and i was allowed a .94. I figure it's the cat. so i had plans to fix my oil leaks anyway, so i guess i'm just going to pull the motor and do that - and it will be out of comission for a few months.

try using a mix of gasoline with more alcohol in it just for the test.

what is the cutoff for no longer having to pass emissions?

I think the cutoff year is different from state to state. In PA, I heard it is 25 years old. I think CT is 20 years old. I know my dad doesn't have to get his '81 Vette done anymore in CT.

ahhh that would explain why the state STARTED sending me notices about emissions, and then abruptly stopped. My car is 21 now
