If you wanted a 944 why didn't you buy a 944?

It would have been more classy to keep the 931 as stock.

1. I like the look of the 944 and the simplicity of the 931.

2. Personally, I don't like the look of the 924/931 stock.

I like the color scheme. Very nostalgic.

Final color will be bright silver, possibly Audi Bright Silver.

The engine is totally stock right now. I had a FMIC on it but removed it due to a/c condensor interference. I am going to install a different intercooler and exhaust. Right now its running 12psi boost with no detonation, ran it up to 17psi once with the ic on it.

Should be a fun toy....even if Socal doesn't like it.

931's didn't have an intercooler, unless it was the 937 Carrera GT model. The Carrera had a top mount cooler that was fed by the scoop on the hood. Very expensive if you find one, and not very good due to heat soak from the motor, exhaust etc...

Wow I learn something new every day. If you get a chance I would love to see some pics of the engine bay, just wanna check stuff out. So let me get this right, the 931 runs stock 12psi with no intercooler. WOW. whats the HP on a 931?? Dude with a FMIC and a boost controler I bet you can get some sweet HP out of her. GOD I love turbos. If I could just get my hands on a beat 951 and do a full rebuild my dreams would come true

Lookin' good! Now with the wide fenders you can slap some 16" fuchs on that puppy!

Any plans to add a 944 rear wing? Have you given any thought to install a 937 front bumper cover and valance? I think that would be killer on that car.

I'll just stick with the cookies, kinda like them.

Plans are for a 944 rear wing.....if Alex will give me his old one..
So far I have bought one rear wing, traded for another, and received none..

I finally have a decent front valance for the car, so I'll just stick with that.
