Low Brake fluid warning???

I keep getting a low brake fluid warning light when I go up or down steep hills or when I stop hard. I checked the fluid and it is full. Any ideas on what would be causing this?

Brake fluid is probably very low, the master cyl has a float on it.
If the fluid is that low, your brakes might be due for a change too.

If the brake fluid fill tank is full, why would I get a low fluid warning?

Check the float at the sender, maybe it's full of fluid and sank a bit. The brake fluid warning light would come on all the time in my old '86 951 when auto-crossing and there was plenty of fluid, I think the sender just gets touchy sometimes.

Sometimes the float gets stuck. It can get goopy in there
