Head bolt torque
What's it mean when the torque is like 15 lbs, then 90 degrees. Like in Clarks-Garage for 1987S head bolt.

looks like ...torque it to 15lbs then give it another 90 degree turn.

thats what it means....
I would wait a 30 minutes between each torque step....

i had the same question, its called torque angles. i did mine this way, and all seems fine after 3k miles. i used an older 2 foot long snap on breaker bar, and it was a bit of work, and i am a big guy. the bar must be strong ; it will not be accurate if the bar bends. the chart shows angles for the 87 n/a. i asked here and got great response and explanation.
