Oil pump compatability
I want to put the late style oil pump/pan in my early race car. There is an '87 944S at an insurance auction tomorrow, and am wondering if anybody knows if the pump & pan on the 16-valve cars is the same as the 8-valve engines.
Anybody know? If I buy it, I'll have lots of parts to sell! It was hit in the nose, so the front clip is already gone. |

Yes, the pump and pan is the same.
PUMP 944 107 014 11 1984-88 PAN 944 101 204 00 1982-88 Happy bidding...

If the auction doesn't work out, there is a pan and pump here that should be ok.
