944 steering problem

My 944 steers funny. Maybe its how they all are. Over 55 mph the steering wheel is harder to control and seems like it wants to go all over the place by itself. Is this a problem? I dont want to sound stupid . B/c my Mercedes dosent do this

Tires or alignment.

The 44 should get even easier to control and manuever at speeds.

Mine is choice at anything over 60...steering, acceleration..everything.

Check for worn or deteriorated suspension bushings especially on the pass. side (this is where most oil leaks go) then align if all is well

good luck

The Back tires are great, fronts look shot.

If the front are shot you probably have a big part of the problem.

In my daily w/power steering had a whole host of problem that I just knew had to be suspension related. New tires cured 95% of them. The other 5% are what caused the strange where in the first place (alignment)

Cant speak for the power steering in the Pcar since mine is MANual.
