gratuitous interior shots
Only CSI gives you more interior shots!
Before the new mats/new shift boot  after   Now, the new floor mats aren't an exact color match (duh - these are 21 year old carpets, after all), but I think the slight contrast looks kinda cool... anyhow, it is a huge improvement over those tattered 1970's block-letter dealies.... Right?

Looks great..it's amazing how similar our interiors look (http://ned.jonx.com/pics/PICT0006.JPG) right down to the different shade of fade around the shift boot. Did those speaker covers come with your speakers? I'm still looking for a set of grilles that can cover my protruding 4x6s.

Wow, I did buy the same mats...I had to take them out when I put in the new interior. The contrast was too much with the new dark brown carpet. I put in the original black ones that came with the car. I'll try to post some pics later.

i love the brown interiors, but I wish there were some aftermarket steering wheels (MOMO) in brown leather, or aftermarket seats (Recaro) in brown leather.
Speaking of which, how do you think a wood MOMO fighter would look on a brown interior? The wood is the closest thing i can find to brown.  the momo fighter is a bit pricey, but it is expensive. i also like the momo tuner, but i think the gray leather might look weird in my interior  franky- thanks for the compliment. I am pretty anal-retentive about my car

I think the brown would look much better than the gray. You could even get the Porsche center cap for the steering wheel.

i have the black tuner one with black leather and the center is covered with carbon fiber and it looks great!

I really do like the wooden one and as you said it is the closest as you get color wise..... the tuner steering wheel i do like as well lol
