Early 944 Windshield Question
Hi,
I have an 84. I'm wondering if my car is missing some rubber pieces that would possibly fit between the metal frame that holds the front windshield and the windshield itself. Right now, I can place my fingertips in the cavity that exists between this metal frame and the windshield itself. Seems odd since this would seemingly catch a lot of wind and weather. Regards, DL

That is normal...they addressed that gap with the later 944s having a flush mounted windshield. I believe you can have your next windshield flush mounted.

Actually, they are suppose to have a gasket in there. Both of my 84's have it, but our team track car does not, it is a 84 also. A lot of times, they start coming out and PO just pull them the rest of the way out, or the windshields get replaced and the gasket dosen't.
