I don't know 912's that well, but weren't they a unibody? How do you do a frame off resto on a unibody?

We are closed on the Sunday the Lords Day!

Jeez, look at that whale tail. At approx 86 bhp you think that the motor can push it? I would be surprised if he gets over $7k...

I believe they are a unibody like a VW beetle is a unibody, that is, they have floor pans with a belly gasket etc.

"Frame off restoration" has pretty much lost its original meaning and is now used colloquially to denote any full restoration.

SWEET! I want one. I bet it's light as hell...

Just so you know...if you write "****" real big in an ebay title it's probably going to stand out a bit more than "uch"...I mean, look at the attention he got from it.

COLDBASS 07-21-2004 03:11 PM

Actually, unlike the old "bugs" on the 923/912E you cant separate the body from the chasis...

AllPorsche944 07-21-2004 08:25 PM

Maybe he just never cared for those Fuchin Fuch's...

UconnTim97 07-21-2004 08:27 PM

How many VW beetles still have the floorpans in one piece?

Huh! Why not?

COLDBASS 07-22-2004 02:19 PM

Unibody = one piece

However, with a Plasma cutter, anything is possible:D
