oh crap... coolant blow out

ok so my car had a coolant crap today. Antifreeze steaming everywhere. water temp guage read middle mark when it started dumping coolant and i shut the car off imediatly.

i found the leak at the back of the engine bay, where it connects to the heater controls. i got a hose clamp back on it, beings the old one broke and filled the system with WATER, then bled the system.

well my main question is, is running straight WATER for coolant hard on the engine? (i plan on getting some antifreeze ASAP in the morning.)

Garage
Running straight water is fine. (I'm currently doing it while I'm trying to diagnose a coolant leak on mine somewhere). Just make sure that you don't pull that kind of stuff when your North Dakota winter comes along next month
