Cleaning Condenser

My project this past week was the installation of a second oil cooler for track use. I had to remove the bottom of the nose of the car to do it - the black plastic cover that is parallel to the ground. Can't think of its name.

While in there I cleaned and straightened the fins on the AC condenser. Last summer I replaced the Nippondenso with a Sanden. The new compressor works well and I was quite satisifed (cool) with the system. But now that I have cleaned the condenser, it gets even colder. The engine water temperature also remains lower now.

A lot of junk came out. Much of it was pieces of rubber from track use. Air was being blocked.
