I recently acquired an 82 924 for the purpose of racing at our local dirt track. I was planning on running it in the Hornet class this year and the Mini class next year.
I have been told that I cannot run this car in the mini class, due to the carburetor rule (no exceptions). And I would be limited to only running it the remainder of this year in the Hornet class, due to having experience at this track in other classes. This SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!... ![]() Oh well,....anybody need any 82 924 parts?.. ![]()

The rules specifically say only one carb. And only original, stock, unaltered intake manifold that was oe on the car. I was planning on using the carb and intake from an AMC Gremlin, they also used the 2.0 engine found in the 924's. But, the 924 was never released as a carbureted model, I'm screwed!
