I recently acquired an 82 924 for the purpose of racing at our local dirt track. I was planning on running it in the Hornet class this year and the Mini class next year.
I have been told that I cannot run this car in the mini class, due to the carburetor rule (no exceptions). And I would be limited to only running it the remainder of this year in the Hornet class, due to having experience at this track in other classes. This SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!... Oh well,....anybody need any 82 924 parts?..

The rules specifically say only one carb. And only original, stock, unaltered intake manifold that was oe on the car. I was planning on using the carb and intake from an AMC Gremlin, they also used the 2.0 engine found in the 924's. But, the 924 was never released as a carbureted model, I'm screwed!
