Removing fenders, door panels, rear quarter panels
How difficult is it to remove/install these exterior parts?
Also, what year/model fenders/doors/quarter panels are compatible with an '86 951?

Nothing, I'm just curious as to how much work is involved.

The parts you mentioned that are compatible are those from another 951. The fenders are different, doors and quarter panels are the same. Doors are a straightforward unbolt affair. Fenders unbolt but are also sealed onto the chassis with a body caulk that can be difficult to make release. I used a putty knife and a heat gun and they usually come off fairly easily. Quarter panels will have to be cut frum the car, choose your method.
