Need PIC of rear hatch assembly

Back in March we could not find the key so we pulled the rear hatch lock assembly out of the car to get a key made. We lost the latch assembly (car stayed "grounded with my son") but we found it this weeked and now I can't fiugre out how to put the #@$%! thing back in properly.

I've got a pic from Vol 3 (Chassis) but its nots very clear. Can anyone post a pic of the assembly?

Truth hurts.....Yes we did! Matter of fact, after we got the car running we found the original set of keys.

No pics. There are 2 standoffs inside for mounting. Two holes on the inside of the lock assembly. Push the bottom rod and cable into the bottom hole. The other rod goes into the top hole. Align the lock with the studs on the standoofs and put on the 2 nuts. The end.

I have to admit that its not really hard for me to make this more difficult than it should be


I'm trying to figure out if the plastic retainer clip goes through the hole on the top of the assembly, then the rod is pushed into the clip? The same for the bottom assembly.....its hard to determine if the rod goes through the hole with or without the plastic retaining clip.
