really f'ing tight...

according to my shop manual:

1st step (tightening the head on the new gasket): 20 Nm
2nd step 50 Nm
3rd step 90 Nm

I am pretty sure that they updated the shop torque values.... to

1st step 20NM
2nd 90 degree torque turn
3rd 90 degree torque turn.

wait between each torque at least 15-30 minutes...

P.S but I have used both torque sequences with no ill effects.....

The printout i have says

step 1 15 lbs
step 2 35 lbs.....i think
step 3 67lbs

Just out of curiousity how do you install them anyway? Is there some kind of reverse-threaded tool that they come with? I was considering upgrading to the raceware studs but was wondering how much of a PITA this would be, or whether it's even worth the trouble. Very few problems reported with stock studs.
