OMG...Is the wave/flash back

I was stunned on my way home from work in the 928...crossing the intersection comming towards me was a grey 993 and he was waving and smiled???? took me by complete suprise. I hurried to wave back and flashed my lights not to look like an ass...

2 blocks later I see another p-car, C-4 white, let him pull out in front of me in traffic onto the main road. I wave hello, flash lights!!...nothing....

WTF...felt the road rage comming on, then i remembered, no mater how self-centered that guy was. He is still a p-car owner.

One thing to keep in mind, the "flash" is customary between members of PCA more than anything else these days.

Most P-car owners are not PCA members. This was much more common when the PCA was larger.

Many P-car owners have heard about the flash from other owners, many have not. I don't take it as an insult if I do not get flashed.

There is no "intro to P-car ownership" class that new owners have to go through that teaches them things like this.

The problem I have is when I'm not driving my P-car, I'm still tempted to flash and wave. I don't think it's the same coming from a Lincoln though.

Larger? The PCA grows in membership every year.

Never joined.

Hey, maybe I should join and then there would be 13 people there!

That's just 'cause you're in that old 914 now and the 911 crew hates those even more than the 944/924S.
