WoW! a 87 924S with 256000 miles!
well today i finally had a very brief chat with the owner of a black 924S thats around the corner from me (ronin has seen it).
i walked up to him as he was pulling lumber and copper pipes from the hatch and asked him what year it was. he replied an 87 and i told him about mine. he then asked me how many miles and i told him around 163k. he said "yeah they run forever, i have 256k on mine( ), and i use it for everything. ive even hauled a 500lb rock in the back!" at that point he turned around and walked into his place with his stuff. i just sorta stood there thinking to myself "WTF?! a 500lb rock?! in a porsche?!"
