Update, broken balance shaft belt FIXED!!

In about 4 hours, here is what was accomplished..
I Used Conti belt(s) from Pelican...

Changed:

Balance shaft (was broken inside the cover)
Cam Belt (Definately on its last leg)
Lower Balance shaft roller
Balance shaft tensioner
Powersteering belt and tensioner

WHAT a difference that balance shaft belt makes!!!

I used the Kriket tool and took like 47 readings before I trusted it, but I am confident that it is the right tension. Now for the recheck at 2000..

Tip I would recommend to anyone who does this job...

GET THE 27mm Open-ended Wrench. This will save you a lot of time.

Also a second person makes all the difference.

This is the Kriket tool.

I spent 21 bucks on it and tested it on my wife's 4Runner fan belt. Took me a couple of tries, but after 5 minutes, you know exactly how to use it.

I have to re-tension my belts in 2000 miles, so I'll see how well I did.
